Ellen DeGeneres Shines in Hilarious Parody of ‘A Star Is Born’ as Lady Gaga’s Replacement

Step aside, Lady Gaga, because Ellen DeGeneres is stealing the show in her own version of A Star Is Born! On a recent episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the funnywoman shared a hilarious parody trailer for the blockbuster movie. In this version, Ellen takes on Gaga’s role as Ally, but with a hilarious twist – she’s a country cowgirl complete with a washboard instrument, pigtails, and a red cowboy hat. While Bradley Cooper still plays the part of Jackson Maine, Ellen’s comedic take on the romantic scenes definitely adds a different feel to the movie. It’s all fun and games as Ellen lip syncs to Gaga’s iconic song “Shallow” before busting out some hilarious dance moves to wrap up the parody. Ellen DeGeneres may not be a serious contender for Lady Gaga’s role, but she sure knows how to bring the laughs!

When Lady Gaga made an appearance on DeGeneres’ show, she talked about the emotional journey she went through while filming A Star Is Born. Gaga mentioned that she changed her hair color from brunette to blonde immediately after the shoot ended, wanting to distance herself from the intense emotions of the character she portrayed. Despite her efforts, Gaga admitted that the character still lingered in her heart even after filming was over.

During her interview, she opened up to the host about her connection with Bradley Cooper off-screen, sharing how quickly they bonded. Gaga highlighted how comfortable and caring Cooper was, making her feel at ease with his loving personality. Both coming from the East coast and having Italian roots, Gaga revealed how their bond grew as she found herself sharing meals with him and conversing about life. As they sang together at the piano, performing “Midnight Special” by Creedence Clearwater Revival, Gaga was amazed by Bradley’s soulful voice, causing her to marvel at his singing abilities. Sharing some fun facts during a game of Burning Questions, Gaga revealed her favorite body part, preferred way of sleeping, and more candid details. When asked about her first Hollywood crush, Gaga surprised everyone by confessing that it was Adrien Brody instead of somebody like George Clooney. This revelation was met with Ellen also sharing her first celebrity crush was the late iconic Michael Jackson, adding an interesting twist to the conversation.
