Even though there were rumors about Travis Kelce flying to Europe to join Taylor Swift in Portugal for her Eras Tour and then heading to the Monaco Grand Prix, he decided to stay put in the U.S. However, he did make a small trip from Kansas City, Missouri to Texas.
Kelce was spotted alongside Patrick Mahomes at the Dallas Mavericks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves basketball game in Dallas on Sunday, May 26. Later, he was seen grabbing dinner with friends at the Mediterranean eatery Saaya.
Swift took a break from the limelight over the weekend. She took to Instagram on Sunday to express her gratitude to the fans who attended her shows in Lisbon on Friday and Saturday. She wrote, “I have completely fallen in love with Lisbon. This was my first time in Portugal and you all made me feel so welcomed. The love and energy you all showed us, with your hands in the air, dancing, and singing along to every word, was truly unforgettable. Thank you so much 🇵🇹”
Swift is scheduled to have two concerts in Madrid, Spain, on Wednesday and Thursday, followed by shows in Lyon, France, on Sunday and Monday. It is unknown when Kelce will reunite with her, but he will be in Cannes, France, on June 20 to record an episode of his podcast, New Heights, during the Cannes Lion International Festival of Creativity. It is possible that he may join Swift for her U.K. performances before or after this event.
Kelce will be taking it easy until July 23, which marks the start of the Chiefs’ training camp. The source mentioned that Kelce wants to show his support for Swift by traveling back and forth between the U.S. and Europe while he has the opportunity.
